Red-Tail Hawk Couple in St. Nicholas Park
A few days ago, I snapped this low-quality camera phone photo of two wonderful red-tail hawks hovering and hanging out on tree tops above the dog run. I am suggesting we name them much like the hawk couple in Central Park who nested on the fancy coop building. Please comment below on some creative names for them or let us know if you too have seen them in the park. Some better photos would be good too!

Saint and Nick are my choices! I have seen them before and they were so large I thought they were eagles!
How about Nick and Nora?
I like Nick and Nora because they're a spohisticated couple from the silver screen who are consumate New Yorkers. They epitomized style (with alot of humor and martinis)
This is a year later, but red-tails are now building a nest above St. Nick. If I understand my building names correctly, it is on the south wing of Shepard Hall of CCNY and overlooking the park.
BTW: Nick and Nora were not necessarily New Yorkers. Nick had once been a detective working in NYC, but he and Nora were living in San Francisco.
