I get Travel and Leisure magazine every month, since I can't afford exotic vacations I can live vicariously through the images and articles portrayed in this mag. This month, while flipping through small tidbits about obscure French towns or midwest hipster zones, I thought to myself "I wonder when Harlem will be featured in a magazine like this as a destination one plans to spend time in while in New York City." I flipped to the next page and here was this article. Perhaps, visitors will appreciate Harlem for more than its recently opened clothing and home stores and come here to take in our beautiful parks, architecture, and history that have always been here.
