Groundbreaking for Harlem River Esplanade

Tomorrow, August 21, at 11 AM, Mayor Bloomberg will join the Department of Parks and Recreation to celebrate the groundbreaking for Phase 2 of the Harlem River Esplanade project. People will gather in the park promptly at 11 AM at the intersection of 139 Street and Harlem River Drive. Refreshments will be provided.

The Harlem River Esplanade will revitalize a lovely corridor of public green space along the Harlem River enabling residents of Harlem and East Harlem to better enjoy their river.

The Friends of St. Nicholas Park support all the individuals who have worked to make this initiative happen.
