Harlem Book Fair 11am-6pm, Saturday, July 21st

The neighborhood just east of St. Nicholas Park, is hosting its annual Harlem Book Fair on 135th street (between 5th and Adam Clayton Powell), next Saturday July 21st from 11am to 6pm. The book fair is sponsored by QBR, the black book review. Grabbing a good book and taking it to St. Nicholas Park's lawn for a read is a recipe for a great Saturday.

Is the park as dirty as Morningside Park?

Dirty? Well, there is trash around like all of New York City Parks but it has cleaned up quite nicely. AS for Morningside, they usually keep a pretty clean park. I go to St. Nick often and have seen a wonderful change in the last few years.
